Northridge Center
The Reseda–Nordhoff core: mall, markets, and most of the everyday errands.
Visitor guide
Northridge sits at the top of the San Fernando Valley — 25 minutes from Burbank airport, an hour from the coast on a good day.

Fly into Burbank (BUR) for the short hop, or LAX for more options. The Metrolink Ventura County line stops at Northridge station; the 118 and 405 handle the rest.
Hotels cluster near CSUN and along Devonshire. Stay in Northridge Center to walk to food, or Porter Ranch for quiet and views.
Summers run hot and dry — plan outdoor time before 11am or after 5pm. Check weather and air quality before a long walk.
8:00am
Coffee and a pastry on Reseda Boulevard before the heat sets in.
10:00am
Walk the CSUN campus and the botanic garden.
12:30pm
Tacos al pastor for lunch — the line is the review.
3:00pm
Browse the Northridge shops, then cool off with paleta.
5:30pm
Drive up toward Porter Ranch for the valley overlook.
7:30pm
Dinner, then live music or a CSUN game.
